The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the basic concepts and principles that drive the free market system and to develop consumer skills that will help them function in a global society.
Students will identify different types, factors that affect, and functions of different economic systems. They will also explain how government, private businesses, and the public affected and are affected by economic systems, decisions, etc.
